wow, where to start. i've been making steady progress since the plane went to the airport. i have the engine ready to start. haven't done it yet cause i want some spotters there when i do it, and so far i haven't been able to get that together. hoping for very soon. i have the flight controls all rigged and ready to go. still need to do some clean up and torque stuff. but everything falls into place. i had some problems with the flap line up, so i cut off the overhang portion of the bottom skin, and then made a little cover plate for the flap push rod opening. worked out very nice. now i have to get the wing tips lined up. the priliminary line up is not good. got to figure out what i want to do there. having fun and getting closer every day.
