after the flap was all done except for the hinge, i decided to line it up with the aileron to make sure i had the minimum edge distance i would need. so i finished rigging the aileron, which was easy. i then positioned the flap into place with the hinge clamped at either end. looks like if i rivet right at the edge distance i'll line up pretty well, so i drilled the flap side of the hinge. i will rivet it on in a couple of days when it warms up a little. supposed to be in the 20's at night for the next few days, brrrr. how do you guys up north do it (i know, heat the garage!!!!)
