today after getting the template made and laid out, i started the process of countersinking the #8 screw holes. i'm really being very careful and anal about this step cause i don't want to make even a small mistake here. so far so good, although it is taking a long time. and to be honest i'm not really working all that long each day. i've been working a little longer each day at the real job, so i'm only getting about an hour to work on this each day.
