thank god for the EAA. my chapter president asked me to bring in something from my project as a topic for our meeting on saturday, so i brought in my cowl. our resident fiberglass expert Bob Wooley looked it over and gave me some advice on how to make it good. so, following Bob's advice, i'm going to strengthen the attach strips for the camlocs. this was the first layup. i used some 8 oz glass followed by a layer of 1.4 oz glass. the rest will get 9 oz layers.
