It's time to start working on the cowl to finish off the firewall forward. I decided to build a template to hold the two halves together a little better while fitting them. I made measurements on the firewall to determine roughly how large the template had to be. Started to figure out how to trim the upper half to make it fit. This took a lot of time because I didn't want to cut away too much. With the halves fitted this way, I trimmed to top half to allow the edges to fit better.
