Having removed the ELT antenna from its original location, I decided to place it inside the cabin behind the copilot seat. I formed a bracket to mount it next to the outside wall. I ran the cable behind the panel covering the rudder cable. The antenna cable is 2" below the rudder cable so there should never be clearance or rubbing problems between them. After mounting the bracket to the inside panel, I discovered that the antenna was somewhat croocked. Although something in me wants to fix this, I think its so minor that it's not worth addressing, at least not now. I am a little concerned about the top of the antenna hitting the canopy slider. If that turns out to be a problem, I'll address both issues at that time.
