Brief Description: Laced wires for copilot grip connector
After assembling the connector, I set out to lace a coil into the wire to enable it to easily expand and contract within the tube. I essentially wound the wires around a 1/4 in steel rod and then used lacing string to form the coil. I put enough colis in the wire to reach from the grip out to the bottom of the stick. I made sure the connector was slightly exposed out of the bottom. I drilled the holes into the control stick to accomodate the grip bushings according to Infinity Aerospace recommencations. Note the plastic tube at the grip end that routes the wires around the control grip bushings. The wires were laced around the small length of tube.
