Brief Description: Prepared elevator tips for mounting
I used the same technique for backing the horizontal and vertical stabilizer tips as was done for the elevator tips. I used 1/2" wide .020 aluminum sheet cut to size and formed around the front edge. I used epoxy cement to hold the aluminum in place during riveting. You can see in this shot how the fiberglass tip is closed in.
