Decided to complete the assembly of the rear floor boxes so that I could have the parts ready for prining. This involved making a lot of parts. The doors are made of .063 aluminum. The rear cabin deck is only .035 aluminum, so I had to shim the hinges down in order for the top of the doors to be flush with the deck. I also decided to make a lip around the entire door opening for the door to rest on when closed. This also had to be shimmed down. Finally, I decided to use .063 angle under the latches and for the front lip of the doors. All this adds up to about 10 parts per door including the 2 hinge parts and the door itself.
