Brief Description: Bent side skin to fit rear section
Started working on the side skins by cutting holes into the skins where the steps come through. I then made a bending die for the holes by cutting a 1.5" hole in a piece of wood. I used a router to shape the edge of this hole to a 1/4" round. After claming the skin over this hole, I used a hammer to shape the skin providing clearance for the fillets in the back of the main plate on the steps. I Also bent the flap on the skins so that it would contour to the bulkhead. Skins were reattached to the fuselage.
