Started assembling the flaps. Prepared the frame as called out in the instructions and the plans. Used a vise and a digial level to put the bend in the end plate FL-706B. Clecod and match drilled all parts. Clamped the hinge to the assembled spar and skin with cleco spring clamps. I used a combination square to establish the distance between the back edge of the hinge and the edge of the skin. This seemed to me to make it straight. Drilled the holes starting at one and and worked down the hinge to the other end. Put a cleco in each hole that I drilled to keep things aligned. I then took the assembly apart and deburred the hinge and countersunk the spar and skin as directed in the instructions.
