Brief Description: Moving fuselage out of the shop
The day of reconning has come. Can I get this fuselage out of the shop without major reconstruction. The shop double doors provide 72" of clearance. The wheels are at about 86" wide, but I figured that I could move the fuselage side to side to wiggle it through. I used the dollies to move the fuselage sideways, but they worsened the clearance problem by another 6". I found that I had to take each wheel off the dolly to get it through the door. With some help from Kay, we managed to get it through without a scratch. Now I'm ready for final assembly prior to painting.
