Brief Description: Added GPS Antenna shelf on the firewall
Continued to mount antennas by adding a shelf in the engine compartment for the 696 GPS and XM weather antennas and the Skyview GPS antenna. Formed the shelf out of .050 aluminum using a bending jig for the edges. Made the first shelf with the edges bent inward. Decided this was too difficult to get to the attachment screws. I've decided that this shelf needs to be removable so that I can get better access to the back of the engine. There will be a service loop in the antenna leads to allow me to put the shelf on top of the cabin when it is removed. Two of the antennas do not have connectors on them, so I will not be able to completely detach the shelf from the plane.
