Went out flying with Fred this summer. We talked about adding a parking brake to the plane for those situations where the plane may be parked on a slight incline. I reviewed the forums about the subject. As with most things there, a lot of differing opinions were presented. I decided to add the brake in the end. I know all these little additions add up in terms of weight, but it would be most inconvenient to have the plane roll after you shut it down, particularly if you were alone. The installation was easy. It retrofitted into the same mounting and holes that were already cut in the firewall. The biggest thing is having to run and mount the cable.
