Took a look at how to attach the cooling duct to the alternator. Decided that I could attach a plate to the back of the alternator with spacers using the three screws that currently hold the back housing on the alternator. Decided to use three 1" spacers and drill the duct hole centrally to these three holes. I cut the duct to length and cut a hole in the front right inlet baffle. I used the grooves in the duct to hold it into place on both ends. Not sure if this is a viable long term solution for mounting the duct. Will the engine vibrations cause this to eventually fail? This remains to be seen.
