Brief Description:  Built desecant holders for exhaust systems

During the summer months, I've noticed that I've had to refresh the cylinder desecant containers much more frequently. Usually, two of the contains would change from blue to clear before the other two. I've decided to plug the exhaust pipes with desecant containers to try to reduce the moisture getting into the engine. I found a piece of 1 1/2" PVC pipe that just fit into the exhaust pipes. I fashioned rings out of the pipe that fit into the interior diameter in order to hold a piece of dacron material in place. The dacron is porous enough to let air pass by, but fine enough to prevent the desicant material from getting out. I cut 6" lengths of pipe, filled them with desecant material and put an end cap on the end. These fit snuggly into the ends of the exhaust. We'll see how they alter the water absorption of the cylinder desecant canisters.
