Drilled a 1" hole in the fire wall to feed the ignition leads through. Used a grommet to seal the hole around the leads. I wrapped the four leads with .004" stainles steel tape to protect the wire from the stainless feedthrough cover. Before I wrapped the wires in tape, I squeeze a quantity of orange high temperature PVC into the wires to fill any gaps. Finally, I laced the wires up so that they would stay together. The stainless tape is 1" wide. This taped area was centered on the grommet. I wrapped either end of the tape with safety wire to make sure the tape would not unravel. All seems pretty airtight and secure. I will mount the feedthrough with #8 screws. I secured the wire harness to bulkheads using a couple of adel clamps.
