I started to look at attaching the snorkel box to the fuel injection body inlet. The first modification needed to make it fit was to sand off a section of the snorkel to clear the alternator mounting brackets. The second modification was to cut the right mounting flange from the skytec starter in order to clear the snorkel. Hopefully, this flange will not be required in the future. Next, I started to look at attaching the snorkel to the left intake baffle. It's clear that the snorkel is not made for this engine configuration. After doing some research on vanairforce, I found out that this is a common problem. People deal with it in a variety of ways. I have chosen to cut out a section of the snorkel in order to shrink the horizontal dimensions of the snorkel.
