Brief Description: Rivetting and gluing the top hinges
Today I glued and rivetted the top half side hinges to the cowl. I used the shim technique to keep the hinges straight during rivetting. All the hinges are now rivetted and glued for the bottom cowl. All the hinge pins can be inserted and removed by hand without a pliers, even before any lubrication is applied. I feel really good about this.
Picture one shows the gap between the top and bottom halves. With the hinge offset, there is no light showing through the hinge. The resolution of the picture may make it look like there are holes.
