Brief Description: Engine air intake / bypass valve
Installed engine air intake / airfilter / alternate air assembly. Original fiberglass part supplied by Van's did not fit, as it was too wide at the filter end to mate to the intake baffle (see image 1). One inch of material was trimmed off the outboard edge of the fiberglass intake tube, and reconstructed to fit. The alternate air intake valve was also installed in the newly narrowed section of the fiberglass intake tube.
