Brief Description:  Floorboards and Rudder Pedals

I Finished installing the floorboards, the rudder pedals were installed, and brake mount brackets installed. The rudder pedals were just simple just monotonous, drill, debur, cleco , rivet and do it 53 more times. The Pneumatic rivet gun I have is awaiting a new part, the air connection quick-connect is too big or long so it won’t lock into the female end, so pick one up tomorrow to get that working. It would have been nice if it worked, would have gone quicker. The hydraulic cylinders went on next no problems. The U bracket holes where undersized, nothing in the manual about drilling them to size but easy fix will do next time. I got little confused on the swivel bushing . The outer most rudder pedals have bushings with a insert nut welded on the ends for the eventual rudder cable hookup. A 3/16 bolt gets inserted inside the bushing, through the nut so the threads are exposed on the outside of the nut. I just couldn’t grasp how to thread the nut . Well with a little rest ,reread the instructions and it calls for you to drill out that welded nut to #11 , and then insert the 3/16 bolt. Just need to slow down and read the directions(going to be a common theme I think)
