Finished Riveting the Left Aileron Except Aft Edge.
Matched drilled an aluminum angle to the trailing edge and clecoed it to the in place. This to keep the trailing edge straight during the adhesion of the top and bottom skins to the trailing edge extrusion piece.
Applied 3M Very High Bond (VHB) Tape to the Traiing edge extrusion after roughing the surface and cleaning it with some acetone.
The skiins' trailing edges were roughed and cleaning in a similar fashion then clecoed to the Trailing Edge extrusion. Time will be allowed for the bonding to occur before being able to rivet the trailing edge.
