Brief Description: Bolted the Left Fuel Tank to the Spar
Bolted the Left Fuel Tank to the Spar. Some of the Z-bracket holes did not align with the spar holes and had to be manipulated with a punch before some of the bolts could be inserted. From past experience with the RV-8 tanks, I had forgot how it is easier to attach the tanks by first getting the bolts all started prior to screwing in any of the edges. This way, the tank gets drawn into position with the bolts and it is easier to get the bolts started while there is a bit of play in the tank position.
I left the right tank only half secured with screws. I will bolt that tank into position before I complete the installation of the screws.
