Brief Description:  Installed the Right Leading Edge

Installed the Right Leading Edge. I needed to modify one of the inboard ribs by notching out a small section of the rib so it would clear the spar reinforcement bars. This was supposed to be done during the rib preparation for installation. I notched the wrong end of this rib but there is no foul in removing the wrong end. I love the way Vans now uses pulled rivets for attaching most of the Leading Edge. I also highly recommend using a Milwaukee Rivet Puller, Great results, manuverable without the air line getting in the way. Also highly recommmend getting the Cleaveland Tools wedge for pulling rivets in tight spaces. I made my own wedge before and it worked well. But the Cleaveland Wedge if a nice improvement and well made. There remains the spar roll of rivets for the top of the leading edge that needs to be riveted. This will have to wait until I have help because it is a two man job.
