Brief Description:  Deburred Right Spar Top Skins

Deburred Right Spar Top Skins. Deburred the Inboard Doubler Plates.

Made a slight bend in the forward edges of the Top Skins. Made a bend on the inboard edge of the top Outboard Skin. These bends are made so the edges don't curl upward and form gaps when the edges are riveted.

Dimpled the holes of the Top Skins except the outboard most that are used for the attachment of the Wing Tips.

Dimpled the wing ribs top holes except for the Inboard Ribs that had the holes countersunk.

Roughed the Top Skins inside surfaces, Inboard Doubler Plates surfaces and all of the remaining J-Channel Stiffeners using ScotchBrite Pads. Wiped the surfaces clean with acetone. Prime the pieces with Sherwin Williams Wash Primer. So far, I am very happy with the Primer as a corrosion prevention step. Very light coat applied. Just enough to see a light green color. Very quick drying. Seems tough. And Van's Aircraft loves the stuff enough to use it on their Quick Build Aircaft. Test Coupons they made over 20 years ago show no corrosion, even on the weather exposed ones.
