Brief Description: Countersunk the Flap Hinge Pairs' Match Drill Hole
Countersunk the Flap Hinge Pairs' Match Drilled Holes. Before this could be done, I fabricated the countersinking jig so that I could countersink the joggled portions of the Hinge Pairs at a 90 degree angle to the FL-1007 L&R parts.
ScotchBrited the Rib and Spar Flanges andthe Spar Holes of the Left Flap in preparation to dimple the parts. I've learned that it is better to do it before dimpling rather then to do it after the dimpling. The dimples tear up the ScothBrite Pads and the quality is not as good.
I set up a pneumatic squeezer to dimple the Flap Ribs. I test Dimpled the Modified Inboard FL-1005 R Rib. I needed to use my Avery Vise Grip #40 Dimpler for some of the holes because the spaces were too small to get the dimpler yoke in between the rib flanges.
