"Uncle Bill" aka, William "Bill" Hamilton visited the shop today for the first time. He's my Wife's Uncle - so whatever that make's him to me...My Uncle-in-law, I guess. You see, Bill is also a pilot, the only pilot I know from my wife's side of the family. And although he hasn't flown in 20 years or so, he still gets a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye when we talk airplanes. He used to fly cherokees, comanches and twin comanches. We had the annual family Christmas get-together today and I always look forward to seeing Uncle Bill at the event because we always talk airplanes, flying stories, engines, old cars - all the fun "Guy" stuff. Bill is a handyman and he also restores classic cars in his garage. He was telling me about his latest project, a '72 Monte Carlo, so I asked him if he wanted to see my latest project. :) He said he was "very impressed" and that meant a lot to me, coming from Bill. Bill turned 80 in September so I promised to keep him up to date with the build. I look forward to the day I finish and get to Phase 2, to take Bill up - we will sure have some fun!
