I started a new category in my construction log called "Signings". In my research and perusings, I have seen other builders/flyers show pictures of where people of importance, sign the inside of a part on their airplane. Maybe the builders' kid drew a picture on the inside of the wing skin, or a loved one who helped build the plane years ago signed his/her name. It's a great way to commemerate and carry those people with you as part of the airplane and I think it's a really neat idea. Going forward, I am going to ask people to sign my airplane and then this will be the place where I keep a record of who is a part of my airplane and what is there...hidden behind the paint - or underneath.
The first "signing" is a very appropriate one. My little "joy bomb" of a wife signed the left wing rear spar, 5 bays over. "the Lord bless you and keep you" (heart)
