The wife and I planned a date to the Pecan Plantation Fly-in again this year since we had so much fun last year. This time it was even more fun since I actually had, "one of those in my garage" as Teresa kept telling the other builders. :) I was able to talk to a lot of builders and pilots and it was a fantastic event as usual. The weather was a perfect 85 with blue skys and friendly people all around.
There were many 8's and 8A's there along with most of the other Van's designs, except for the -14 and the -3. Below are a few pics of the 8's... It really fired me up, and even Teresa said she was fired up for me - so it was a really cool experience...one day, we will be flying our -8 there...
