Brief Description:  Console storage flanges, another partial layer

It's probably time to work on the flange of the storage console. The flange will go on top of the fiberglass buildup and will be glassed together as part of the storage console. The flange will provide the lip around that will sit on top of the console frame and it will be drilled and mounted to the frame.

I measured around the layup and determined that 1.25" would be a good amount of flange to start with so that I could cut it down to fit. I traced the size of the console on aluminum foil and then added another 1.25" around the traced dimension. I then cut 8 layers of the four sides of glass that I would need, then mixed up the resin/hardener and went to work. After all the layers were laid up, I used a roller to flatten out the flange so it would dry air bubble free.
