Brief Description:  Aft fuselage skin rivets – Part 1

After discussing the conduit and routing of the static line we determined that it was probably better to take the fuselage off of the rotisserie and sit it on wood supports. I gave Bob the option of driving rivets from the outside of the fuse or bucking rivets from inside the tunnel and he chose the tunnel. But before he climbed inside the tunnel he mentioned that we might be able to set one side of the longeron rivets before he climbed inside. We clecoed just the line of holes along the right longeron and Bob was able to reach under the skin from the left side and buck the right side rivets. Desperation is the mother of invention :) and it worked out really well. We decided to break for a little food before Bob go all “comfortable” in the tunnel.
