Brief Description:  Paint prep

A long week on jury duty and it's not over yet...

I have been watching the weather all week and it looks like there is a small window for some warmer air on Sunday so I need to get some work done to be ready to paint, otherwise it will be a long winter with not much to do.

I woke up early Saturday and got busy working on the individual interior parts and the interior. My typical procedure was to sand with #400 sand paper if needed, vacuum the part real well with the shop vac, then blow the part down with the compressed air and lastly, wipe it down with the tack rag to remove any last item of dust.

I processed the parts and then put them on a table I set up in the garage and covered them with plastic to keep them clean. When I had all of the loose parts cleaned up, I re-did the interior of the fuselage in the same manner...sand, vacuum, blow, wipe, cover.
