Brief Description:  Seat Floors - front floor / foot wells

Today I got the footwells clecoed together to the forward floor, final drilled and deburred. I also deburred the F-837-1 aft control mount, and removed the aft floors and got a look at the hole I drilled in the longeron. It came out really well and I am glad I moved the hole outboard slightly. I also countersunk the rivet holes for the nutplates in the floors.

I also want to let you builders know of a handy tool that helps to drill those hard to reach places. The first tool is the angle drill attachment that allows you to get a 90 degree turn on the drill bit. The angle drill attachemnt uses screw in type drill bits and is fairly limited in what type of drill bits or attachments you can use in the 90 degree attachment. The other tool that broadens the use of the angle attachment is the small chuck that allows you to use any drill bit or any drill attachment (within reason that will fit in the chuck, of course). See pic #2 for the "exploded" view of the angle attachment, the chuck and then a typical drill bit or the counter sink. I bought mine from Avery Tools for around $35 - worth every penny! I used these tools for much of my drilling and countersinking in these last few build sessions.
