Brief Description:  Seat Floors - more deburring and drilling

Right off the bat I had to locate and cleco the rear baggage (F-834-1) Aft Baggage Floor and (F-835-1) Rear Baggage Shelf into place. Not that big of a deal, but I haven't done any processing on these parts at all... oh well, Van knows what he is doing.

I clecoed the two (F-862B-1) Attach Plates to the (F-862-1) Rear Baggage Bulkhead and final drilled the common holes. Then I drilled all of the holes between the floor skins and the ribs, longerons and floor supports.

When it came time to final drill to #12 the forward two holes for mounting the (F-837-1) Aft Control Mount, I ran into a problem. I had installed the nutplates in the past, but unfortunately, I installed the wrong sized nutplates (hmmm...I will have to go back and see what was spec'd in the drawing and see whose mistake it was??) and could not drill the hole to #12. So after scratching my head for a while, I removed the nutplates, drilled the two holes to #12 and then squeezed another rivet in each of the nutplates. Due to the proximity of the angle to the floor support, I can't squeeze or drive the second flush rivet in each nutplate, so I will be ordering some blind rivets to install in the nutplates. I also need them for the keeper rivets - so time to order.

But for now, the one rivet held the nutplate fine (and probably always would...) and I was able to drill the other two holes with the Aft Control Mount in place. Then I removed the bolts, the aft control mount and drilled the other nutplate holes for the 3/32" rivets that would be going there.
