Brief Description:  aft deck riveted on

The first order of business now that the bottom skins were riveted (to an almost complete point) was to final torque the nuts on the F-814E-Left and Right seat ramp supports to the center section, to 24 in/lbs. Those nuts have been in the way for a while and it’s good to have them done and torqued.

Next I riveted the F-810C-1 angle to the F-810B-1 bulkhead (see picture #1). This should have actually been done back on page 8-23, but the parts weren't primed so they didn't get riveted back where the instructions told me to. I noticed that it didn't look right when I clecoed the F-819-1 aft deck on and the F-810C-1 angle wasn't called out in the instructions so I went and looked up the part number on the instruction file and found where it was missed before. I did go back to my instruction checklist and I had not checked it off yet, so I knew I moved passed it without completing the riveting – but I just need a better method of checking back for incomplete steps. Anyway, I caught it and got it riveted in time – but I will be reviewing my procedure for skipping/returning to previously skipped work. Then I clecoed the aft deck back on and riveted it on. There are 7 clecos that keep me from riveting the elevator stops in - as per the instructions, I am not supposed to rivet them in yet so that I can adjust the elevator travel when that time comes. You can see those clecos in the picture as I put tape over them so as not to accidently rivet them in.
