Brief Description:  Drilling Fuse Skins - Aft Skins, 2

I didn't have the people-power to move the fuse to saw horses and final drill the center section holes, so I moved on to the aft deck and the aft top skin. Installing the tops of the bulkheads and the aft skin correctly aligns the fuselage for drilling the remaining parts, so I had to do that first...sweet.

I then fit the aft deck (F-819) to the top of the upper longerons and positioned it so that it was centered on the fuselage and then clamped it down. Then I marked the notched area of the aft deck on the upper longerons as this is the area that the stailizer attach bars will pass thru.

Then it was a matter of match drilling the aft deck holes to the upper longeron, marking the aft parts of the upper longerons that will get trimmed and then clecoing in the Angle/Control stop (F-812 B). That's about all I can do today. Really cool having an airplane in my garage...I highly recommend it.
