Brief Description:  Drilling Fuse Skins - Aft Skins

Big day in the shop today - long day in the shop today ... so, good day in the shop today. I matched drilled the rest of the upper longerons and where they connect to the mid side skins (F-823) and the Aft side skins (F-824). Then I final drilled all the rest of the holes in the skin bottom skins. I was having a bit of trouble with the air drill so I played around with the cordless, but it was too heavy. I went to an older drill that was Norbys' - a 3/8" electric drill - it was lighter than the cordless, but not as light as the Sioux - which has been perfect until today. It seems to be overheating and then shutting off, the trigger doesn't work. After I rested it for a while it works again...? Anyway, it is fairly humid, and the air drill is running almost full time drilling the longerons - so I oiled it up real good and maybe that helped.

But hey, all of the holes are drilled in the current fuse skins at this point...btw, I counted the holes in the 3 skins on each side, and the 2 on the bottom...and the total number of holes drilled today and the previous 2 days - >1800! Bingo!
