Brief Description: Adding Tailcone to Fwd Fuse – upper longerons
I only had a short time in the shop and then it was off to celebrate my nephew Sam’s 3rd birthday! I wanted to get the upper longerons laid into place to see how well (or not) they fit. So, the plans say to un-cleco the upper 6 inches of the three side skins so that you can set the upper longerons into position. That was easy – and the upper longerons sat nicely in their spots – the bends seemed to be right on as far as location and angle! Sweet!
I jumped a bit ahead and clecoed the cockpit rails into position just to see what they looked like – that’s about all there was time for.
