Brief Description:  Left and Right box weldments riveted

I was able to get both of the right and left landing gear box weldments riveted (WD-822). There are a bunch of rivets in those parts - and some need the offset rivet set - which can be squirelly at times. If you don't hold the gun with a considerable amount of force on the manufactured head of the rivet - the offset will bounce and cause a "smiley" - which sounds good but is when the "cup" of the rivet set - cuts/scars the head of the rivet - and the rivet needs to be drilled out and replaced. I had 3 or 4 of those today. It was during one of those bad rivet drill outs that I finally joined the drilled finger club. Ouch. All home builder's will eventually join this club...from what I hear.

Also, the logistics of the way one goes about riveting the box weldment involves contorting the bucking bar hand back around thru the lightening hole of the box assembly. See picture one for some temporary wrist damage. All in a days work. :)

I was also able to rivet the forward floor ribs-crossmember-intercoastal rib together which was only 4 rivets but they were hard to get to and time consuming.
