Well, I finally FINISHED the inventory…well…Van’s sending me a “Bundle I” that was missing in the original shipment. They were great about it. I sent the email, the next day, I received a reply that they were sorry for the mistake and that the email was forwarded on to the Parts department for processing…and the next thing I knew I received an email from FedEx with a tracking number. The parts should be here in another on Saturday 3/29! Excellent customer service Van’s!
So, the big box is empty and I only have a few skins inside the house (in the office). The parts/skins are all in their places in the upper storage – or along the shelf walls. Exciting stuff. I am not quite sure what I want to do with the nice crate, yet? Of the two wing crates, the fat one was sawed up and disposed of, while the Spar crate is still located in the shop. I am not really using it anymore, so I can probably get rid of that one now. Time to get back to work on the project - which will be easier now that my Father-in-law will be out of the hospital tomorrow. He will be recovering from double bypass surgery for another few months.
