Brief Description:  Replace Leaking tank rivet

Wow...it's been a record amount of time away from the project. Bummer! I have many reasons but here is a short list..I was sick for part of the time, we are doing a kitchen remodel so it took a lot of focus and time, nephew's basketball game/birthday party, end of winter yard work, attendance at niece's play...and college baseball season is underway! Yippee! My favorite time of the year.

So before we left for a 5pm game in Tyler, I needed to get something done. I fashioned a wooden scraping device out of a shim I had, to scrape the old proseal off from around the hole. Then I mixed up a batch of proseal (10:1) and filled the hole with proseal, dropped in the 3.5 rivet and squeezed it. Once properly set, I covered (encapsulated) the shop head with proseal. Done for now, I will let that dry and then retest both tanks for the final approval.
