Brief Description: Rivet flap brace & aileron gap fairing-LEFT
I had the left wing on the work bench so I decided to rivet the flap brace and aileron gap fairing on the left wing. Because of the orientation and logistics of the flap brace, all of those rivets were driven with the gun, mostly 470-4-4's, some 4-5's, a 4-8 and a couple 4-9's!
After the flap brace, I was able to use the squeezer to set the aileron gap/spar and aileron gap/skin. Two rivets need to be drilled out and re-done, but I asked my neighbor Lee to come over and help me flip the wings from bench to stand and vice vera. Since the wings are flipped, tomorrow I can rivet the right wing for flap brace and aileron gap fairing.
