Brief Description: aileron brackets - rivet & final drill
Happy New Year boys and girls! Got to the shop to do some riveting on the aileron brackets and used the squeezers to set those -7's, -9's and 11's. Those are some long rivets. So after I finished the brackets I drilled them to the side of the rear spar, deburred all of the holes and primed the rear spar holes and the faying surface of the brackets (on the plate) for extra insurance. I am one-for-one on work sessions this year...let's see if I can keep that up :)
