Brief Description:  finish riveting left wing leading edge

After getting home as the sleet starting falling and quickly cleaning up the leaf situation in the pool - I turned on the shop heater and fired up the compressor. The long work day was done and it was now time to get some rivets driven.

After a little more than 2 hours, the left wing leading edge was done. I was pleased - as the flush rivets came out really good. I was also able to set the blank rivets to fill the stall warner holes.Evidently, the optimum setup for bucking the -3 rivets seemed to be 45 psi at the gun, and shooting the rivets with the leading edge assembly in the cradle. I prefer to shoot the rivets with the assembly sitting vertically - and that worked for the bottom side, but when I switched to the top side, I couldn't properly contort being a right handed riveter/left hand bucker. So I did a horizontal shoot...and it worked out.

It's currently 55 degrees in the shop and 29 degrees outside. I know that's no big deal for you northerners...but come on, it was 79 yesterday. Sheesh. Chances are I will be working from home tomorrow...
