Tonight I worked on finishing the W704L and W705L skins. W704L was almost done from two days ago – but still needed to be edged and “scarfed”. The scarfing is thinning the edge where the two skins overlap and meet the leading edge skin. It’s only about 3” x 3” but it needs to be taken down so that there is smooth transition from skin to skin. After that, it was on to the W705L skin which had already been de-blued (de-vinyled)…so I deburred the holes, dimpled the holes and shaved down the scarf joint. Nothing too exciting tonight – and the pictures prove it.
