Brief Description:  More W-423 joint plate work

Needing to clean up some overdone proseal, I started there. I took the small 1” scotchbrite wheel attached to the ryobi drill and cleaned up the underside of the skin where the joint plate needed to sit flush. It was easy, even though I was careful not to take off too much proseal. Once that was done I was able to continue the joint plate work of drilling for the platenut rivets, deburring those new holes, dimpling the rivet and screw holes, cleaning with MEK, priming, wait while primer dries, then rivet the platenuts on. I finished up by clecoing the joint plates back onto the skins. I have a little bit of proseal removal to do on the right tank and then that one will sit better too – but that will wait for next time.
