Brief Description:  left tank - baffle on, riveted

Today I was out in the shop early for a long session of baffle prosealing and riveting. The temperatures have cooled off outside (47 degrees this morning) so it was nice and cool in the shop.
I started off deburring and edge cleaning both of the baffles as I noticed they were basically untouched except for the drilling and countersinking that was done much earlier. After edging and deburing I cleaned the baffles with MEK. Then I mixed up a 70/7 ratio of proseal and dispensed a good bead along the skin, just forward of the rivet line. I used the syringe method for a nice uniform bead. Then when you drop in the baffle it acts as a squeegee and forms a good seal on the baffle skin joint. It took me a while, but I got all of the rivets squeezed with a good result.
