Brief Description:  Final install of vent tube/return line – Rt tank

Since I ended up using the fitting hardware for the left vent line on the right return line, I decided to go ahead and finish off the attach fittings for the vent line and return line in the right tank. I also re-ordered the necessary parts from Van’s for the left vent line – since they only provide enough fittings for a vent in each tank as that is the standard setup. True, pursuing options over the standard does cost more money and does take more time… but the options are what make experimental aviation so exciting and personal.

So I mixed up another batch of proseal, and taped off the ends of the fittings, sloshed proseal around the hole on both sides of the rib, slid the fitting thru the rib hole, put the washer and nut on, then tightened the nut. Slid the tube nut forward on to the fitting, tightened that nut and then slathered proseal around that nut. I also dabbed pro-seal around the bushings in the ribs to keep them in place.
