Brief Description:  left tank trap door and hole patch

It was back to the shop after buying a new laptop and rebuilding the home computer over the weekend. That and I am at the tedious part of the tanks and have an 8 item list of things I have to do before I can pro-seal the ribs into the tanks and rivet those bad boys. So, I was back at it and did manage to get 2 items crossed of the list. I also have to wait until the tubing bender and tubing flare tools arrive in the mail - hopefully 4 days from now.

I came across some research on the VAF forum where someone had asked the question of whether builders would have preferred to put in two flop tubes instead of just one... The part I found interesting, was that many builders said that they wished that they put a trap door in both tanks - even when they didn't put flop tubes in both sides...seems it helps when you are slipping to land, and you have the option to slip either way with two trap doors. So I decided I would trap door the left tank too. Along with the trap door is the obligatory hole cover "patch" so I did that too. It shouldn't have taken me this long to do those two items but in both cases I intially drilled and deburred for -3 sized rivets when I ended up using -4 since the material was thicker and the -3's I have wouldn't have been long enough.
