Brief Description:  redrilled holes, re-washed,dried...then primed

Today I spoke with my Virginia RV-8 buddy - Skyking Bob regarding primer, conduit and life. Bob is good for perspective and a second opinion...it's good to have buddies like Skyking and Roger to bounce ideas off of!

In the end, I decided to switch to Van's corrugated conduit instead of the 5/8" straight conduit I originally intended on using. The Van's conduit is more flexible and a lighter...and Bob has a lot of it so he is bringing it with him...Bob is in town next week for training so there should be some good progress made. Thanks Bob!

That means that all 28 ribs that had their spa day would be re-drilled; re-washed, re-dried and then primed...here we go again... Oh well... it will be better in the end.

I also purchased a respirator for the priming of the ribs. I used the "hold your breath" method for the previous parts priming - but for 28 ribs - It would take forever to prime in between breaths so I went to get a respirator. This is part of the "don't do what I did" section. Up until now - the parts were small enough that I could prime them up-wind and hold my breath while priming - so as not to ingest the chemicals. Not the best way to do things… so don’t do it – by the respirator to begin with from the start.

I should have taken a picture of the 12 ribs (per session) hanging in the back yard via paper clips and string - but I didn't...sorry.
